So, two days ago, I received the following e-mail:
"You have been nominated to be a speaker at August Convocation. Please let me know if you are planning to be there asap. It is on Friday, August 15th at 8:00 a.m. After we have heard back from all our nominees, we will select a speaker and then notify you of our decision. Thank you!"
Today, I received this one:
"We have decided to select you as the speaker for August convocation. The advisement will send you detailed information soon. Chris Cutri will be your faculty mentor. His phone number is 422-1358 and his email address is chris_cutri@byu.edu. Please let me know if you have any questions."
Hmmm.... Strange, considering this:
